We have been doing storage for a period of approximately 15 years and have built up our client base to such an extent that we have two modern storage facilities. Storage has become a popular side of the removals business over the recent years, as more and more people realise the benefits that it offers. Nowadays tying up a sale & a purchase can be quite a problem, but by using a storage service, this can be avoided. The self-storage market has increased over the last few years and storing in wooden storage containers is ideal for this.

Containerised Storage

This is the most common form of storage. The containers are made of wood palletised and can be stacked up on top of each other. They hold 250 cubic feet of space with a square footage of 35. These containers will hold almost all household items except for the odd large sofa/sideboard/ladders etc. We do have loft pallets, which will hold loose items which are shrink wrapped to them. The main advantage of containerised storage is that we can bring empty containers direct to your property on a specialist side loading vehicle, and these can be loaded on site, the fork-lift lifts them on and off and so when you call for your goods they will have been handled only twice.

When the container is loaded a full inventory will have been completed for both parties, which will identify the original location of the goods and any existing marks or damage. The inventory can be completed in such a way that if you require access then this will be possible by arrangement.

Containerised storage is a convenient method of storage not only for the convenience and reduced handling involved, their size is such that they will cater for a full house load down to a few small items and you will only pay for the container you use.

Self Storage

Self storage is a growing part of our storage service. Once you have made the booking you will be met at one of our depots and you will be able to reverse your vehicle right up to the container/s ,therefore you will not have carry your goods along corridors or up lifts reducing the possibility of damage and also the strain on yourself!. Once loaded you will be given a receipt and you can either use your own padlock or we can supply one to keep your goods secure. Access is available if required 6 days per week and if urgent out of office hours are available.

At our Billericay site we have an association with a van hire company and can get discounted rates on van hire as well as blanket and strapping loan.We are also able to supply your packing materials and will even be able to do your packing for you if required. See packing services.

Archive Storage

For business customers we offer a comprehensive archive storage service, which involves the use of the standard storage container but modified to store up to 100 archive boxes in racking. Alongside this service we offer file collection & delivery service and file destruction.
