We undertake a variety of packing services which will cater for all requirements.

The majority of the time we do a packing service in conjunction with a removal, however we will provide an independent packing service if the circumstance require such.

The following are definitions of our packing services:

Full packing service - This will include packing all miscellaneous items into boxes/bags. We would require the client to pack their personal and valuable effects. The crew will pack items into boxes carefully and will label the box as to its contents and destination.

Glass & China Packing Service - This will include packing all glass, china, pictures, mirrors, lamps, cookware-basically anything that has a fragile nature. All boxes will be labelled fragile and handled accordingly. The main advantage apart from the client not having to do the packing is that the insurance cover is intact.

Export Wrapping - This is usually only for overseas removals and involves wrapping all furniture in paper blankets, corrugated paper and or cardboard. It is quite expensive as it requires large amounts of packaging and is very labour intensive. Sometimes we will export wrap a particular item in a domestic move or storage job, usually it will be a canvas painting or grandfather clock or similar.

Unpacking Service - This involves unpacking the contents of the boxes. We will put some items away into cupboards but mostly the contents will be positioned on worktops tables and safe areas for you to put away. We will take away all the packing materials.

There are various reasons why you might consider a packing service, firstly you haven’t got the time consuming job of doing it, secondly you haven’t got to worry whether it is ready to be moved, your insurance cover is intact and finally its probably not as expensive as you might think and can easily be worked into your budget.
